The only professional ATP tennis event hosted inside CDMX — an ATP Challenger (one step below the main ATP Tour) played on clay at Chapultepec. The 2026 edition ran April 6–12 and was won by James Duckworth. Next edition expected April 2027. The Abierto Mexicano Telcel (ATP 500, Acapulco, February) is the bigger Mexico tennis event but outside the city. Worth watching for 2027.
